I simply try and build the best quality leather items I possibly can.  I do my best to source the best leather hides and hardware available to me.  When you get your item, there should be no doubt that you made a good decision, I guarantee it.

For LEATHER, I choose hides that are tight grained, and feel strong.  I prefer to shop and select leather in person.  Sometimes I pay a premium price for that, and sometimes I find some value gems.  The pricing of an item always reflects the cost of the materials but mostly the time to make it. I usually have desirable tanneries in-stock such as Horween, W&C, and the like so if you need something specific just ask.

Regarding leather TEXTURE and GRAIN, the more the better in my opinion.  Leather carries marks, scars, and variations.  That's the material, not a flaw. I do not use any part of a skin that lacks structural integrity, has holes, cuts in leather , and all damage like it.  If you are looking for "cleaner" finished leather with no grain, let me know and I can find you something appropriate.

About HARDWARE, I simply use the best I can find, whatever is around to complete projects.  If it matters to know what I'm using in your project simply ask, or if you have a hardware brand request, let me know.

Everything I do is by hand.  From pattern making, stitching, all the way to polishing it before I pack it up to ship to you.
